Metamodern Grotesk. Digital Art by Alfred Stoll exhibition
In a solo exhibition at the Cultural centre House of the German East in Munich, digital artist Alfred Stoll is pleased to present his digital art collection on the theme of a retrospective of the grotesque in different cultural epochs with a contemporary, sometimes ironic look at the weird forms and figures of western culture. Metamodern Grotesk describes a new visual style in art and design that has become increasingly popular in recent years and is popular in recent years and is distinguished not only visually from other styles, but also through new digital possibilities, which Alfred Stoll, as a meta-modernist and digital art populist, would like to to the public. The exhibition is informally divided into three different formats of interaction with the art objects. Interaction will take place in the classical format as well as with augmented and mixed reality effects and in the digital format.

METAMODERN GROTESK
The Media Installation DAZWISCHEN is a combination of artworks by Polina Pravdikova, Mac's Meadow, Alfred Stoll.
The main theme of the installation is to demonstrate sustainable development through global digitalization and to draw attention to excessive digital pollution. The shadows of the viewers in the installation affect the video projections and distort the projection of the digital world onto the real world. As a result, these projections also leave a mark on the viewer himself.
Video projections create an atmosphere where physical and digital objects exist and interact in a single space between the real and virtual worlds. The video projections are video collages where different stock videos are superimposed, creating new and unique animated color patterns and compositions. The music is as important as the visuals in this project. It is meant to help immerse the viewer in the atmosphere between worlds and put them in a state of "dazwischen ". In the right corner of the installation runs a short animated film, Caves Onara, about a cult of something from the digital world. In the left corner are animations dedicated to the theme of the grotesque.

Augmented reality part of the art collection "Сities and people".
In this collection, the dialogue between the atmosphere of the place and the human being is revealed. In order to understand the truth, the metamodern individual not only engages in a constant inner and outer dialogue, but also co-creates his reality through the creation of "atmospheres". Atmosphere refers to non-verbal communication with an object based on the experience of feelings and ideas prior to their understanding in a shared reality for both the subject and the object of perception, and has an ideational character. The atmosphere is experienced by the being of the subject itself, which is also physically intangible, contributing to the achievement of communicative unity with truth.

GROTESK-MASKS - collection of Augmented-Reality-Effects. Unique interdisciplinary project in collaboration with Polina Pravdikova. Five real original masks by Polina were scanned into the 3D model, adapted for use and placed in augmented reality effects. Some of these masks were already on display a year ago at my last exhibition Red point. I was inspired by their instance diversity, detail and grotesqueness. In life, one wants to look at eternity and in addition, many visitors would like to try them on. All this prompted me to propose to Polina to create a common project where I could demonstrate her artworks in the digital space and create several joint effects. The result exceeded all my expectations. It's a delight! Thanks to Polina for this opportunity, it was pure pleasure to work on this project and improve my skills in augmented reality!
